Girls JV Basketball Brings home a 61-17 win vs. Berkley

The Girls JV Basketball team traveled to Berkley Friday evening in what looked to be a pretty evenly matched game, in the first, finishing up the quarter with a slight 11-7 advantage. They turned up the heat in the 2nd Qtr, with a full-court press, forcing turnovers and extending their lead, significantly. Lexi Horattas came up with 6 of her 8 points, in the 2nd quarter and hit the boards hard with several rebounds. The girls continued their momentum into the 2nd half coming up with a dominating 61-17 win. Aryonna Jackson led the scoring with 10 points, Horattas and Amy Sidaway each scored 8, Alexa Shkreli contributed 7, Bridget Hafner had 6 points, Bella Yeske and Molly Yeske pitched in 5 a piece, Londyn Maples and Layna Sturza each added 3 points and Kenzie Brinkmann, Abby Klaft, and Abbie Brecht all added 2 points a piece.
The Eagles host Dakota on Monday the 15th. Freshman start at 4pm, followed by JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7pm.
