GROSSE POINTE SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 44
The JV had their hands full on both ends of the court on Tuesday vs. Grosse Pointe South, playing without their head coach and vs. a very physical and strong GPS squad. They fell behind in the first and though they came within 8 early in the fourth, the Blue Devils continued to force turnovers, dominate rebounds and capitalize on scoring opportunities, resulting in a 22-44 loss.
Aryonna Jackson led the scoring with 10 points, Abby Klaft provided a spark with 4 points, Londyn Maples and Amy Sidaway each pitched in 3 and Kenzie Brinkmann scored 2 points.
The Girls Basketball teams travel to Port Huron on Thursday.
