The JV Girls Basketball Team increased their winning streak with a victory on Wednesday afternoon over the visiting Grosse Pointe North Norsemen. Everyone on the team scored and the highlight of the game was the VAST IMPROVEMENT on their free-throw shooting - hitting 13 of 21 from the line.
Amy Sidaway led the scoring with 12 points, followed by Abby Klaft with 8. Bella Yeske and Abbie Brecht each scored 5 and Layna Sturza added 4. Maggie McGuire and Molly Yeske each chipped in 3 points, Aryonna Jackson, Londyn Maples, Lexi Horattas, Bridget Hafner, and Alexa Shkreli all scored 2 points and Kenzie Brinkmann added 1 as the team finished up the night with a 51-3 win, remaining undefeated (4-0) on the season.
The girls teams travel this Friday to Port Huron North, which promises to be a good matchup.
