The Eisenhower Eagles matched up against the Anchor Bay Tars tonight and it was ALL Eisenhower who controlled the game. Ava DUKAJ scored the first two goals for the Eagles, both goals were impressive strikes, one of those goals assisted by Maryn SMITH. The “sophomore connection” strikes again with Julia ANIEL passing to Ellera JAKUBOWSKI who scored Ike’s third and final goal of the evening. Like many games this season, the defense was stubborn, lead by Sonja PETERSON, Hadley FARR, Charlotte LONG and Nicole VON ZITTWITZ who helped Molly MELLOTT keep the clean sheet. The JV lost their match tonight against Anchor Bay 4-1.
The IKE GIRLS SOCCER will face off against the Dakota Cougars on Wednesday at Swinehart. The varsity team moves to an impressive 10-1-1 overall and 7-0 in the MAC RED.
