On Saturday the Frosh Eagles split a doubleheader with the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils.The guys fell in Game #1 by a score of 6-2. Drew Baker had 2 hits and an RBI, while Austin Thorpe, Noah Parsons, and Nick O' Neill each added a hit.
In Game #2 the boys trailed 8-1 through 3 innings but scored 4 in the 4th, 5 in the 5th, and added 1 in the 7th for a walk-off victory 11-10. Joey Grajewski had 3 hits while Noah Parsons and Dante Ormachea each added 2. Gavin Rutkowski picked up the W on the mound while striking out 12 in just over 5 innings of work.The winning run crossed home plate when Ormachea singled in Parsons who had doubled. The guys are now 8-6 on the season.
