The Girls Lacrosse Club Board meets the 2nd Tuesday every month. We discuss current items, any issues, and events.

When: 2nd Tuesday of every month

Time: 7:00 pm-8:30 pm

We encourage Active Members to attend.  Active Members are parents of all girls in the Lacrosse Program.

It's Lacrosse Time!!  Tryouts begin Monday, March 11th.  See details below. Go IKE!

Here are some updates and reminders:

Tryouts Begin 3/11/19. Registration must be completed on Family ID with Physical forms uploaded before a player begins tryouts.  This is a UCS rule, that we can not modify.  If you are having any issues completing your registration at this point in time, please contact the Eisenhower Office (586-797-1300) and ask for help.

Location: Total Sports Park 65665 Powell Rd, Washington, MI 48095

Tryout schedule is as follows:

• Monday (3/11) and Friday (3/15) 4:30pm – 6:00pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (3/12-14) 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Practice Schedule

Indoor Practices will continue the week of 3/18 at Total Sports Park with the same schedule as tryouts.

• Mondays and Fridays 4:30pm – 6:00pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00pm – 5:30pm
• JV will practice on 3/21 and 3/26 at Total Sports while Varsity plays games
• Final indoor practice is Wednesday 3/27/19
• Both JV and Varsity have games on 3/28, so no practice at Total Sports
• No practice Friday 3/29/19

Spring Break – No practices the week of 4/1-5

Outdoor practice will begin on 4/8/19.  Both Varsity and JV teams practice behind Malow Junior High (between JH baseball and softball fields).

• The schedule is as follows:
• Mondays and Friday 4:00-6:00pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 3:00-5:00pm.

Welcome our New Junior Varsity Head Coach

We are pleased to announce we've added a new JV head coach.  Welcome Ryleigh McGregor!  Ryleigh has a plethora of Lacrosse experience, she played Lacrosse at Clarkston High School and then played for the MSU Women's Lacrosse team.  Prior to joining our club, Ryleigh was the JV coach at Grand Ledge High School.  If you get a chance welcome her to the IKE family.

Monthly Lacrosse Booster Club Board Meeting - 3-12-19

Our next monthly board meeting is Tuesday, 3/12/19 from 7:00-8:30 p.m..  We will meet at Eisenhower HS in the Media center. This is for all prospective and returning parents, please attend our monthly meetings.  We meet the second Tuesday of each month same time and place.  We have posted our draft bylaws on the www.eisenhowerathletics.org website, and will be voting to accept the new bylaws at the March meeting and your vote matters.  

Game day volunteers Needed

Calling all parents, we need your help.  The way our program succeeds is for us all to chip in and help.  We have 11 home game volunteer spots for each Varsity and JV game as well as 4 spots for away games.  Please see the sign-up genius for the spots needed with descriptions.  As noted at the Registration night, no experience is needed, we will train and help ensure all can have a fun and successful volunteer experience. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0F4CAFAE22A4F94-game

Poker Night fundraiser

Thanks to all that signed up to volunteer your time to work this fundraiser. For those signed up, it’s critical that we fulfill on our scheduled time.

Rules night

There will be a rules night either March 18th or 19^th at the dome at the end of practice.  All parents and player should plan to attend this meeting.  The head official Pat will be here to go over the rules. Once we confirm the date we will send it out to you so pencil it in on your calendars.
