Ike Girls Varsity Lacrosse remains undefeated moving to 11-0 on the season with a 15-7 victory over the Stoney Creek Cougars.  Stoney Creek came with alot of speed and really challenged the Eagles.  Ike's defense had a stellar game, and limited Stoney Creek's offense.  Referee's and opposing coaches have been overheard referring to Ike's defense as the "Great Wall of China" and they certainly lived up to it in this game.  The Eagle offense scored 15, led by #5 Marisa Scola with 5 goals.  Lindsay Valentine #14 added 4 goals and 6 draw controls.  #16 Avery Brothers scored 3 goals on 3 shots.  #22 Gabby Basha and #23 Sophie Zyczynski each talllied one goal.  #2 Lexi Bruno also scored one goal, one assist and one draw control.  The Eagles dominated the draws  winning 15 of 23.  Morgan McCloud #28 and #19 Kendra Nolan each had 3 draw controls.  Goalie Lacy Valutis #29 finished the game with 12 saves.  Ike Girls Varsity's next game is Friday, May 3rd at Rochester HS at 7pm.  Come out and cheer on your Eagles!
