Gavin Rutkowski was rolling on Thursday with a complete game shutout of the Anchor Bay Tars 7-0. Rutkowski struck out 7 and scattered 4 hits in 7 innings of work. The Eisenhower Eagle Seniors went out with a bang on Senior Day with a convincing 9-1 victory over Chippewa Valley. Carson Landino picked up his 4th victory on the mound with help from Nick Opperman, Noah Johnson, and Zack Verellen. Noah Sheridan and Giuseppe Sapianza paced the offense with a combined 4 hits and 5 RBI's.Verellen added 2 RBI's and Brandon Kedrow moved his hit streak to 4 consecutive games. GO IKE!
The Eisenhower Eagles scored 9 times with 2 outs in the first inning and never looked back while defeating Cardinal Mooney 14-7. Carson Landino and Talan Pickens both launched home runs, while Giuseppe Sapienza, Owen Van Dam, and Donovan Erfourth each added 2 hits. Eisenhower Baseball wrapped up a series victory over the Ford Falcons with 4-2 victory at Ford. Logan Bach pushed his record to 3-0 with 5 strong innings on the mound. Zach Verellen picked up a save, striking out 4 Falcons in the final 2 innings. IKE was able to score single runs in the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th innings after falling behind 1-0. Owen Van Dam had 3 hits to pace the offensive attack. Nicole Fodale and Brandon Kedrow had 2 hits a piece while Fodale, Donovan Erfourth, CJ Rockafellow, and Giuseppe Sapienza each drove in a run. The Eisenhower Eagles smashed the ball, and Gavin Rutkowski held the defending MAC RED Champion Stevenson Titans down in their 9-2 victory on Tuesday at IKE. Rutkowski picked up his first varsity "W" scattering 3 hits in 6 and 2/3 innings. At the plate, Nico Fodale led the charge going 2-2 with a walk and 4 RBI's. CJ Rockafellow was 3-4 with 2 RBI's. Brandon Kedrow added 2 hits and Noah Sheridan scored 3 times. IKE is now 9-4 on the season.
The Eisenhower Eagles jumped out to a 7 seven run lead and had to hold off a huge rally by Grosse Pointe North to secure a 13-11 victory. Noah Johnson picked up his 2nd win of the year on the mound, while Noah Sheridan had to put out a fire late. Offensively, CJ Rockafellow paced the IKE attack going 2-3 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 2 walks. Talan Pickens was 3 feet away from a grand slam but had to settle for 2 hits and a 2 run double. The Eisenhower Eagles broke out the lumber on Saturday to sweep the Norsemen of Grosse Pointe North. In game #2 the Eagles won 12-2 in only 5 innings. Donovan Erfourth hit a 2 run home run. Noah Parsons had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Noah Sheridan added 2 hits, Nico Fodale drove in 2, and Austin Thorpe scored twice. On the bump, Brandon Fallarme picked up his 1st ever varsity win with some late help from Antonio Brees. IKE moves to 8-3 on the season.
It wasn't pretty, but 5 straight walks in the 7th inning pushed the Eisenhower Eagles to a 2-1 victory in their MAC RED Season Opener over the Romeo Bulldogs. Carson Landino was once again terrific on the mound, keeping the Eagles in the game while pitching 6 innings of 3 hit baseball. The only run given up by the Eagles was unearned. Zach Verellen picked up the win on the bump by pitching a scoreless 7th and striking out 2 Bulldogs. Jimmy McGuire worked a walk in a 7 pitch at-bat with the bases loaded to score Joey Grajewski to tie the game and Verellen walked on 5 pitches to score Austin Thorpe with the winning run. IKE is now 6-1 on the season and 1-0 in the MAC RED.

Next up was Fallarme with 2 K's in 2 innings of work. Noah Sheridan closed the door in the 7th inning with 2 more strikeouts. The Eagles scored a manufactured run in the 3rd inning with Jimmy McGuire executing a perfect hit and run, getting Brandon Kedrow to 3rd base and Austin Thorpe sacrifice bunting him home. The Eagles are now 5-1 on the year.
