Ike traveled to Lake Orion Thursday night to take on the 0-3 Dragons on their home field, in very blustery conditions.    Within the first minutes of the half, Ike lost two starters to injury and shortly thereafter went down 0-1.   Just before the half, Senior Captain Lexi Morrison crossed the ball perfectly from the right side, to the far-post where Senior Sadie Zyczynski was waiting and headed it home, making the score 1-1.  Eisenhower, with the wind advantage in the first half – could not capitalize and headed into halftime deadlocked.   Lake Orion continued their aggressive play in the 2^nd half, scoring to make it 1-2, but Sadie Zyczyinski struck again, off of a corner kick from Junior Chloe O’Loughlin to match Lake Orion at 2-2.   But Lake Orion was not going down without a fight and with a slight wind advantage, were able to hit the back of the net two more times before the buzzer, to finish the game 2-4 and earn their first win of the season.
