The Eagles traveled to Anchor Bay on Wednesday evening, to take on the Tars who are dead even with Eisenhower at the top of the leader board in MAC Red.   The Tars were aggressive from the get-go, with a strong wind at their backs.  They pressured the Eisenhower defense and keeper for much of the half but the teams were deadlocked at the 40 minute mark.  

Eisenhower came out in the second half more offensively minded, and kept the ball primarily in the opponents half, but could not come up with the combination to break the tie, as Anchor Bay's back line held the Eagles to only one shot on goal and gave up only one corner..  .

The Eagles back line led by Junior Lily Arcari, Senior Bianca Popovski and Juniors Sadie Zyczynski and Natalie Tangelder also kept their back line in order and Sophomore Keeper Amy Sidaway earned every bit of her clean sheet with 7 saves on the night.  Ike also gave up only one corner.  The Eagles will host Anchor Bay in a rematch on Monday, May 17th - kicking off at 6pm.  

Eisenhower heads to Okemos on Saturday morning to take on the.Chiefs at 10am.
