The Girls Varsity Soccer team kicked off their season with a big Win vs. Fraser on the road, Tuesday evening. The sun was out for their first game since Spring 2019 and the girls showed that they were ready. The Eagles out-shot their opponents in the first half 9-0 and headed into halftime with a 2-0 lead on pair of goals from Junior Lexi Morrison, assisted by Senior Captains Maria Riggio and Nina Ferraro. In the 2nd half, the Eagles continued to pressure the Fraser keeper and Morrison earned herself a hat-trick on another assist from Ferraro. A short time later, Riggio took a hard foul in the box, earning a PK and buried in the net, to make it 4-0. Sophomore Goalkeeper Amy Sidaway earned her first shutout and win as a Eisenhower player.
Overall the team earned 7 corners to Frasers 3 and had 14 shots to Frasers 2.
The team travels to Troy on Friday to take on the Colts. JV kicks off at 4pm and Varsity at 5:30.
