The Eisenhower Eagles played Grosse Pointe North Friday afternoon. Eisenhower struck fast, with just over a minute into the game, Ava DUKAJ delivered a pass into Ellera JAKUBOWSKI who headed it in for the goal. In the second half, JAKUBOWSKI earned the “Double Header” and her second header goal of the game, after getting a touch pass from Nimarta SAINI. The Eagles were not done yet, they followed it up with a goal from Freshman Adriana AVARA, and then a goal by Natalie VERNON, assisted by Ashley EDWARDS. Molly MELLOTT and the defense earned the 9th shutout of the year.
The Eagles will play against the Romeo Bulldogs on Monday to finish the regular season. They moved to 12-1-1 on the season and 9-0 in the MAC RED conference.⚽️🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅 GO IKE!
