IKE Baseball defeats Romeo 7-6 in a walk-off victory in 8 innings

It took an extra inning, but the IKE Eagles defeated the Romeo Bulldogs 7-6 on a walk-off bases loaded run scored by Zack Verellen on a Bulldog wild pitch. Grant Bombe came in threw 3 1/3 shutout innings after the Eagles gave up their 6-0 lead. Drew Baker picked up the win, striking out the only 2 batters he faced. Carson Landino was exceptional the first 3 innings on the bump. Offensively, the Eagles were paced by Lukas Zahuranic's 2 hits and doubles by CJ Rockafellow(2 RBI's) and Verellen. Eisenhower is 1-0 in the MAC RED and 3-4 overall on the season.
