IKE Baseball ends their season with a 6-3 loss to Adams in the district championship

ROCHESTER ADAMS HS: 6
To win a district championship the IKE Eagles had to beat the #6 ranked team in the state, the Rochester Adams Highlanders. The Eagles gave it a great shot, but fell to the Highlanders 6-3. The Eagles outhit Adams but it wasn't quite enough. Aaron Thorpe had 2 hits and 2 RBI, while Jake Verellen, Lukas Zahuranic, Anthony Fodale, and Pietro Ciaramitaro each had a hit a piece. The Eagles finished with a final record of 15-21. The coaching staff would like to thank all 24 players, and especially the 10 graduating seniors. This squad battled against 5 teams that finished in the top 17(Adams #6, Lake Orion #7, Woodhaven #8, Stevenson #13, GPS #17) in Division #1 in 14 of their 36 games. Great work fellas!!!!!
