DAKOTA HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The Eisenhower Eagles made it 6 for 6 when they fell behind another MAC RED Opponent. This time it was Dakota, and they trailed 7-2 after 4 innings of play. The Eagles scored 2 in the 5th and 2 in the 7th, but it wasn't enough as the Dakota CF Mata made an unbelievable catch in right center and doubled off the runner and 2nd base with a strong throw to end the game. The Eagles had bases loaded and 1 out at the time of the double play. Logan Sandri kept the Eagles in the game with almost 3 innings of hitless relief. Offensively Jake Verellen had 3 hits and 3 RBI's while Aaron Thorpe had 2 hits and Luke Aniel drove in 2 runs. IKE is 4-2 in the MAC RED and 7-5 overall.
