HENRY FORD II HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Eisenhower Eagles have fallen behind in all 3 of their MAC RED games, but have battled back and won all 3. Today the boys fell behind 2-0 against the Ford Falcons through 4 innings but scored 1 in the 5th, and 5 in the 6th to bring home a 6-2 victory from Ford's Field. Steven Jorgens threw a 3-hit gem through 6 innings with 5 strikeouts, while Logan Sandri closed it down with 1-2-3 7th. Offensively, Josh Bussineau brought home the game winning run on a bases loaded ground ball to 3B. Lukas Zahuranic drove in 2 Eagle runs and Pietro Ciaramitaro scored twice, running for catcher Aaron Thorpe. The Falcons and Eagles square off for 2 more games tomorrow at Eisenhower. IKE is 3-0 in the MAC RED and 4-3 on the season.
