The boys battled all game but came up 1 run short vs. the first place Dakota Cougars, falling 6-5 at Jimmy Johns Field. Blake Bombe and Steven Jorgens combined to strike out 8, while the offensive attack was led by multiple hits from Anthony Cardamone, Brandon Rice, and Aaron Thorpe. The guys get one more crack at the Cougars today. On the season the V squad is 11-11 and 4-4 in the MAC RED.
