The guys had all they could handle when Garber Dukes drove down from just outside Bay City for a doubleheader with our Eagles. In the first game the boys faced University of Michigan commit Tommy Szczepanski. When it was all said and done, the squad was able to overcome and come away with a 9-5 victory. Big hits came from a 3-run double from Brandon Rice and a 2-run double from Jake Verellen. Alex Guzdziol struck out 7 in almost 6 innings of work, to pick up the win on the mound.
