The Eagles fell behind 3-0 but rallied for 5 runs in the 6th inning to take down the Big Reds 5-4. Sergio Dilisio capped the rally off with a 2-run single for the game winning RBI. Sophomore Steven Jorgens pitched the last 3 innings for the win on the mound while striking out 5 in relief of Blake Bombe. The game ended when with runners on 2nd & 3rd & 1 out, a strikeout in the dirt was thrown to first base to complete the out & first baseman Angelo Asta gunned down the runner from 3rd, who tried to score but was tagged out by catcher Aaron Thorpe. The Eagles are 1-0 in the MAC RED & 3-4 overall.
