Jake Opperman threw a complete game on the mound and struck out 7 while only allowing 3 hits during the Eagles 3-1 victory over Grosse Pointe North in the opening game of the Grosse Pointe Invitational. Oven Van Dam homered and Brandon Kedrow drove in 2 as the boys raised their record to 6-2 on the season.
