The JV guys split a doubleheader against the Romeo Bulldogs on Thursday.
In Game #1 the boys scored 9 runs in the first 2 innings and held on for a 10-5 victory. Carson Landino picked up his first win of the year on the mound. Offensively, Noah Sheridan and Zach Verellen each had 2 runs. Sheridan added 2 hits and Verellen added 2 RBI's.
In Game #2 the Bulldogs clawed back with 9 run 4th inning to beat the Eagles 11-7. Noah Sheridan and Jackson Akey both had 2 hits while Akey and Ian Patterson both drove in 2 runs. The guys are now 2-1 in the MAC RED and 4-2 overall.
