As has been the case throughout the season, the girls started off strong and maintained the aggressive play and intensity through four quarters to come out with a Dominant win over Lutheran High North on Tuesday.  It seemed early on, that the girls might have a formidable opponent as North came out with strong defense taking the girls about 3 minutes to finally score in the first, but ending the quarter with a 9-4 lead.  The Eagle defense held strong in the 2nd quarter keeping their opponent scoreless and heading into halftime with a 17-4 advantage.  The 2nd half was an opportunity for what the girls do best, teamwork and collaboration.  Forcing turnovers and mistakes on the defensive end and setting up plays, with passing, and team work to score on the offensive - with many girls contributing. Leading the charge with a season high 8 points was Ameiah Wallace - who also snagged multiple rebounds on both ends of the court.  Maggie McGuire and Amy Sidaway each added 5 points,, Kenzie Brinkmann pitched in 4 points (and many rebounds), Chloe O'Loughlin and Giulia Vitale each hit a 3 pointer while Abbie Brecht,  Ava Musharbash and Molly Yeske all contributed 2 points.   

We're sad to see the season end, but the girls want to thank Coach Mel for all she has done for them this year and all she has taught them.  Looking forward to great things from this group, next year.
