The girls got off to a rocky start, going down 0-4 early on, but came back and scored 10 consecutive points to finish the 1st Quarter. They continued their scoring through the 2nd and with solid defense held Port Huron to 9 points in the half, heading into halftime with a 24-9 lead. The Eagles held strong in the 2nd half in a very physical game and finished them off with a 35-18 victory. Several players contributed to the scoring efforts. Kenzie Brinkmann led the way with 8 points, followed by Abbie Brecht and Ameiah Wallace who had 6 points a piece. Amy Sidaway scored 5 points, Chloe O'Loughlin added 4 points and Molly Yeske and Ava Musharbash each scored 3 points. After playing 7 of the last 8 on the road, the girls return to their home court on Tuesday January 21st to take on Warren Cousino. Game time is 4pm, with JV & Varsity to follow.
