The girls had a sluggish start tonight in Romeo, finding themselves behind 4-11 after one quarter of play. Things started clicking in the 2nd quarter and they fought back to a 20-13 lead at halftime. The 2nd half was all Eagles with a HUGE team effort. Aggressive play, hard work and effort by every player helped lead the team to a 44-24 win. Contributions to the scoring were as follows; Amy Sidaway collected 8 points, Kenzie Brinkmann , Ameiah Wallace and Molly Yeske all had 6 points a piece. Chloe O'Loughlin had 5 points, Maggie McGuire and Layna Sturza both scored 4 points a piece, while Giulia Vitale hit a 3 pointer and Isabella Bataresh added 2 points. The girls worked well on the defensive side of the court, forcing multiple turnovers, blocking shots, stealing the ball and holding the Bulldogs to only 11 points in the entire 2nd half. GREAT JOB to all the girls as they improve their record to 4-1.
