The Eisenhower Eagles Varsity Tennis Team traveled to Walled Lake on Monday for a double dual with Walled Lake Northern (WLN) and Notre Dame Prep (NDP). The Eagles went 8-0, 8-0 with outstanding performances by all team members.

1D Clare Henry (12)/Isadora Dimovski (12) 6-3, 6-0; 6-1, 6-1

2D Paige Nicholson (11)/Elle Nicholson (10) 6-4, 6-3; 6-1, 6-0

3D Natalia Pfeffer (12)/Angelina Vrzovski (11) 6-3, 6-3; 6-1, 6-0

4D Gabby DiCesare (11)/Kennedy Kullman (10) 7-6(2), 7-5; 6-3, 6-3

5D Aleksandra Makrievski (12)/CeCe DiCesare (11) 6-4, 7-5; 6-2, 6-0

The Eagles also earned a headline with article in the Macomb Daily due to their strong opening performance and likelihood of winning their 4th Regional title in 5 years and a trip back to the State Meet; a trip that has now become quite a common thing for them.

Currently, the Eagles are ranked #9 in the State in Division 1 play after defeating Troy a week ago.

The Eagles are scheduled to play regional rival Port Huron Northern (PHN) in a dual meet on Wednesday, April 17th @ IKE @ 4 PM and The UCS Quad (Eisenhower, Stevenson, Utica, Ford II) on Thursday, April 18th @ IKE, Ford II, and Utica @ 12 PM.
