Stevenson’s Justin McCown earned medalist honors, firing an even-par 71.

Romeo finished third behind Lake Orion and Bloomfield Hills to qualify for the Division 1 state golf finals. Those finals will be held at The Fortress in Frankenmuth on June 7-8.

Romeo shot a 314, just one stroke behind Bloomfield Hills.

Dakota was fourth with a score of 320, followed by Ford (321), Eisenhower (322), Troy (322), Rochester Adams (324), Port Huron Northern (328) and Rochester and Stoney Creek (337 each) among the top 10.

McCown will be joined at the state finals by Eisenhower’s Sam Militello (72) and Ronnie Aniel (73), who both qualified as individuals by finishing among the top three not on qualifying teams.
