Eisenhower baseball had a season of very exciting games and that didn't change when the state playoffs started. Trailing 3-2 heading into the final inning, the Eagles rallied and Dominic Ferraro's single walked off a tough Stoney Creek Cougar Squad 4-3. The rally started with 1 out when Lukas Zahuranic walked. Josh Bussineau then singled to right. Aiden Ives then singled home Zahuranic. Anthony Fodale was walked to load the bases and Dominic Ferraro ended the game on a single right up the box. Sophomore Carson Landino picked up his first varsity win on the mound after Logan Sandri threw the first 3 and 1/3 innings and only allowed a single run. Offensively, Danny Szalkowski, Anthony Fodale, and Ferraro each had 2 hits while Ferraro drove in 2 runs. The victory set up the Eagles for a chance at a district championship vs. the Rochester Adams Highlanders.
