The Girls Basketball teams traveled to Port Huron to take on the PHN Huskies in a Friday Night match up.  Even with it being their 5th game in 9 days,  the JV girls didn't miss a beat. Defense held firm in the first, holding the host team scoreless in a 13-0 first quarter.  The team continued to add to their lead with a combination of great passing/combination plays and forced turnovers, heading into the half with a 21-6 lead.  The third quarter started off  a little sluggish, but they got back into a groove and ended the game with a 36-15 win. There were a lot of contributors to the scoring.  Amy Sidaway started them off with 9 points, Aryonna Jackson and Alexa Shkreli each added 8, Bella Yeske, Maggie McGuire Layna Sturza, Lexi Horattas and Molly Yekse all pitched in 2 and Bridget Hafner had 1 point.

The girls travel to Grosse Pointe South on Tuesday, to take on the Blue Devils.
