The Eagles had their opportunity for a rematch against the Chieftains (the only team to beat them this year), but had to head to the Utica home court for the rematch in the MAC Tournament.  The first quarter started off similar to the last game in an even match-up with Utica holding the lead at the end of the quarter 7-5.  The girls kicked it up a notch in the 2nd and headed into the half with a 17-11 lead.  In the 2nd half the Chieftains came within 10 but the girls struck back hitting 3 pointers, forcing turnovers and putting together great plays.  There were several players who contributed to the scoring.  Amy Sidaway had 10, Maggie McGuire and Molly Yeske chipped in 8 a piece, Kenzie Brinkmann scored 6 points, Chloe O'Loughlin pitched in 2 points and Layna Sturza put the icing on the cake, with a 3 pointer as time ran out -capping off a strong effort with a 37-24 victory. 

The girls travel to Lutheran High North on Tuesday February 25th, tipping off at 4pm - with JV & Varsity to follow.
