The girls improved their record to 12-1 with a decisive win at Chippewa Valley.  They came out strong early on taking a 13-5 lead after one. The second quarter was more of the same  with strong defense, steals and fast breaks heading into halftime with a 23-11 lead.  The girls continued to pour it on in the second half with great defensive plays.  Molly Yeske, Chloe O'Loughlin, Kenzie Brinkmann and Amy Sidaway all logged a block a piece and Brinkmann, Yeske and Ameiah Wallace all pulled down multiple rebounds on both sides of the court.  After 3 quarters the score was 31-17 and the Eagles finished off the Big Reds in the 4th ending the game with a 40-21 win.   There were several team-members who contributed to the scoring.  Sidaway scored 12 points, Brinkmann added 10 and Yeske chipped in 9 points.  Maggie McGuire added 3 points while Giulia Vitale, Abbie Brecht and Layna Sturza all had 2 points each.    Up next for the girls - the MAC Tournament and then post-season play.   They will play next Tuesday,  Time & Opponent to be determined (but I'd guess they all would welcome a rematch with their cross-town rival Chieftains).  Stay tuned...............
