As expected, it was a nail-biter at Utica High School when the Freshman Eagles went up against the Chieftains. Things were tied up 13-13 at the half and were even again after 3 quarters - 20-20. The Eagles found themselves in foul trouble late in the game and some clutch free-throw shooting was the difference in the end. The Ike Girls all worked hard on both ends of the court - Amy Sidaway scored 8 points, Kenzie Brinkmann had 7 points and 3 blocks,Maggie McGuire hit a clutch 3 pointer and added 2 more for 5 points, Molly Yeske also hit a 3 pointer, Ameiah Wallace added 4 points and Chloe O'Loughlin added 2 blocks..

The girls travel Romeo on Tuesday 12/17 -- tipping off at 4pm.
